Umtavaddo defeated MaddaVaddo A Calangute to emerge winners of Interward futsal tournament.
Umtavaddo defeated MaddaVaddo A Calangute by 4-3 via tiebreaker to emerge winners of the 7-A-Side Interward Futsal Tournament organised by Calangute Association at Poriat Ground on Sunday.
The first half commenced with umtavaddo dominating posession and keeping good ball possession and some good attacking style of play by Umtavaddo gave them the lead in the first half with their striker domnic fernandes scoring from close range. The first half ended with umtavaddo leading. In the second half sauntavaddo however bounced back and managed to find the equaliser after one of their strikers shot through a close range effort and the match ended with both teams scoring one goal each. The match had to be however decided on tie breakers which maddavaddo won.
