Central Jail Executives Clinch Prison Cricket League Title.

GOA: The Prison Cricket League concluded with a thrilling finale at the Central Jail Colvale grounds here on 19th October Central Jail Executives emerged victorious, defeating Central Jail Admins in the championship match. The tournament was organised by inspectorate general of PRISON IN COLLABORATION WITH INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED
Shri Omvir Singh IPS IG Police & Prisons was chief guest for the closing ceremony Additional Inspector General of Prison, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Shri Indrasen Verma, Senior Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, was the guest of honor.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sigh praised the participants for their sportsmanship and teamwork. “Such initiatives promote rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates into society,” he said.
Shri Verma emphasized the importance of sports in building character and discipline.
The championship team received trophies and certificates from the dignitaries.
