Minister Mauvin Godinho Chairs Monsoon Preparedness Meet in New Vaddem
Vasco | In a proactive step towards ensuring safety during the upcoming monsoon season, Minister Mauvin Godinho chaired a comprehensive Monsoon Preparedness and Disaster Management Committee meeting at the New Vaddem Office today.
The meeting brought together key officials and stakeholders from various departments to assess inter-departmental readiness, identify critical concerns, and align response strategies to effectively manage potential monsoon-related challenges.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Godinho emphasized the need for timely, coordinated action to minimize disruptions and safeguard public health, infrastructure, and property. “A hands-on, collaborative approach is vital to ensure that our constituency is well-prepared and resilient in the face of monsoon-related risks,” he stated.
The Minister also extended his appreciation to all participating officials and representatives for their active involvement and commitment.
