Velim MLA Engr. Cruz Silva Inaugurates Enhanced Educational Facilities in Ambelim
Ambelim : In a significant move to uplift primary education at the grassroots level, Velim MLA Engr. Cruz Silva inaugurated newly upgraded facilities at a local school in Ambelim. The upgrades include a state-of-the-art Computer Room, freshly painted Pre-Primary Classrooms, and a fully renovated Children’s Park.
The improvements were funded through the MLA Local Area Development (MLA-LAD) Fund, aimed at creating inclusive, child-friendly, and future-oriented learning spaces.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of School Manager Fr. Romeu Godinho, Headmistress, PTA members, teachers, and students, all expressing heartfelt appreciation for the upgrades.
Speaking at the event, MLA Cruz Silva said, “Our children deserve spaces that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Through these improvements, we are not just upgrading infrastructure we are investing in the dreams and potential of every young mind in our constituency.”
The initiative marks another step toward holistic development in the Velim constituency, with a strong focus on education.
