Saligao MLA sees solar energy as alternate power source
Saligao: Saligao MLA Kedar naik on Thursday said that Saligao constituency will pave the way for solar power panels with an aim to reduce the overall electricity load.
Naik was speaking to reporter after inaugurating a new 220 KV electrical transformer at Coco Beach, Nerul
Speaking to reporters, MLA kedar said the transformer was a long pending demand of the people that has finally been put in place.
” several people had suffered electricity power voltage issues and now, people from this area and surrounding areas will get un-interrupted power without power fluctuations.
We have now installed this transformer for the benefit of the people and I thank Power Minister for approving the project ” said naik .
