Calangute: The concerned authorities should conduct a survey of old and dilapidated buildings , in village of calangute so as to prevent untoward incidents of the collapse of buildings and prevent loss to human lives said Calangute MLA Michael lobo
Calangute MLA Michael Lobo along with Panchayat, Talathi and others inspected abandoned structures which are in dilapidated condition at Calangute Tinto.
“The concerned authorities should conduct a survey of dilapidated building and this is need of the hour as there is every chance of parts of slabs giving way and tearing off from the main structure The a survey needs to carried out of these precariously standing buildings, by taking necessary steps to bring them down. Such measures will go a long way in saving precious human lives” said lobo
We will try and initiate measures against against such buildings after conducting a survey for the security of the people ” said deputy sarpanch Geeta parab.
