Will clear all pending Laadli Laxmi applications: Vishwajit Rane
PORVORIM: Women and Child Department Minister Vishwajit Rane has assured to clear all pending Laadli Laxmi applications.
Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai during question hour had pointed out that 3900-odd applications under the Laadli Laxmi scheme, questioned why funds are not released when the Budget is surplus.
Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar raised the issue of pending cases of Griha Adhar applications.
He said most of the cases are marked to the committee for more than 5 years.
“I have instructed to call for the committee meeting and clear the cases. We have been clearing the cases as per fund availability. I will give a written update in a day or two,” said Rane.
Rane also assured to sanction all the pending Ladli Lakshmi forms before the end of this Assembly session.
Min Vishwajit Rane assured the Assembly to call for a meeting of the Committee today, approve the applications.
