RTI Day Celebrations on Oct.11th.
Nation is celebrating RTI day on 12th October each year. This is the day on which the Right to Information Act, 2005 came into force. The Department of Information and Publicity, Government of Goa in association with Goa State Information Commission will organize RTI Day on October 11, 2024 at Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji, Goa.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will inaugurate the event at 10.30 a.m. along with Goa State Chief Information Commissioner Shri Aravind Kumar H. Nair, State Information Commissioner Shri Atmaram R. Barve and other dignitaries.
A special lecture will be delivered by Ld. Advocate General on the topic ‘Role of First Appellate Authority in upholding the spirit of RTI Act on the occasion.
All First Appellate Authorities of Departments/Corporations and Autonomous Bodies in Goa are invited to attend the event for which the Registration will begin at 10.00 a.m.
