Goa Faces Temporary Water Supply Restrictions
Panaji, October 14, 2024: The public water supply system in several constituencies of Goa will face disruptions on October 15 and 16, 2024, due to essential maintenance work.
According to a public notice issued by the water department, the laying of 400 mm and 600 mm diameter electromagnetic flow meters on the conveying main pipeline of Sankhali and Bicholim will result in restricted water supply.
Affected Areas: on October 15, 2024 will be Entire Sankhali Constituency ,Entire V.P Honda V.P Pissurlem in Poriem Constituency
While in October 16, 2024 Entire Bicholim Constituency and Entire Mayem Constituency
Residents and businesses in the affected areas are requested to bear with the temporary inconvenience and make necessary arrangements to conserve water during this period.
The installation of electromagnetic flow meters aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of water supply management in the region.
The water department apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures that the work will be completed as soon as possible to restore normal water supply.
