Shubham Rao Dessai Elected Unopposed as Sarpanch of Guirim Village Panchayat
Saligao: In a unanimous decision, Shubham Rao Dessai has been elected unopposed as the Sarpanch of Guirim Village Panchayat (V.P.), Mapusa. His election marks a new phase in the village’s governance, bringing fresh leadership to local administration and development efforts.
As the sole nominee for the position, Dessai was declared elected without opposition, underscoring the trust and confidence placed in him by the villagers and panchayat members.
Expressing his gratitude, Shubham Rao Dessai said, “I am deeply honored by the faith shown in me by the people of Guirim. My focus will be on sustainable development, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that government reach every resident. Together, we will work for the betterment of our village while preserving its cultural heritage.”
MLA Kedar Naik, congratulating Dessai on his election, stated, “I am confident that under Shubham Rao Dessai’s leadership, Guirim will witness significant progress. His dedication to public service will surely benefit the village and its people.”
