Fish Breeding Project Inaugurated at Keri, Pernem to Boost Local Fishermen’s Business
Keri : In a significant move to boost the business of local fishermen, a central government-backed fish breeding project was inaugurated today at Keri, Pernem. The project was launched at the hands of Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar, along with Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar, Keri Sarpanch, Arambol Sarpanch, and several karyakartas.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar and MLA Jit Arolkar expressed confidence that the new fish breeding initiative would greatly enhance the livelihood of local fishermen by increasing fish production. They emphasized that such projects are vital for strengthening the fishing community and ensuring sustainable growth in the sector.
