Bahubhashik Mahila Sahityik Melawa to be Held on May 24
Panaji | The Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji, will be organizing the Bahubhashik Mahila Sahityik Melawa on May 24, 2025, at Preeyal Farm House, Khandepar, Ponda. This literary gathering aims to celebrate and promote multilingual female literary talent from across Goa.
The Melawa will be inaugurated at 9:00 AM by Smt. Sulakshana Sawant, noted social worker, in the presence of other dignitaries. The day-long event will feature sessions with renowned female poets and writers representing various languages, panel discussions, and mentoring sessions aimed at guiding aspiring writers.
Every year, the Institute conducts several literary and cultural initiatives such as seminars, workshops, and competitions to preserve and promote Goa’s rich literary and artistic heritage.
The concluding function is scheduled for the same day at 4:30 PM. The Institute has extended an open invitation to all women writers and poets in Goa to participate in this unique multilingual literary event.
