President Droupadi Murmu Nominates Thiru. Sadanandan Master to Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu has nominated Thiru. Sadanandan Master to the Rajya Sabha, bringing into the Upper House a voice rooted in grassroots activism, educational reform, and unwavering national commitment.

Thiru. Sadanandan Master brings with him over four decades of dedicated service in the field of education, along with the resilience forged in Kerala’s ideologically intense political atmosphere. His life journey stands as a symbol of perseverance and ideological conviction.

On January 25, 1994, at the age of 30, Sadanandan Master survived a brutal attack by CPI(M) workers, who amputated both his legs in a politically motivated assault after his shift toward the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The incident, rather than silencing him, marked a turning point what many describe as his “rebirth.”

Since that life-altering moment, he has continued his mission to serve the nation through education, ideological clarity, and an uncompromising stance against divisive forces. His nomination to the Rajya Sabha is seen as recognition of his courage, service, and deep understanding of India’s socio-political fabric.
