SPEED BREAKER NOTIFIED
The District Magistrate, South in public interest has notified “Hump Type Speed Breakers” and “Go-Slow, School ahead” sign boards at various places in Canacona Taluka. Which includes one Hump Type Speed Breaker near Shree Shraddanand School, Poinguinim on internal road at about 20-25 meters prior to merging to the main road old NH-66 and one Hump Type Speed Breaker at near Vaghvardhini Pathshala, Welwada at 10 meters prior and 10 meters later from the road leading towards Welwada with necessary signboard of Go-Slow, school ahead and indication speed breaker at necessary distance.
Also, one Hump Type Speed Breaker at near Hattipul Forest Office, 10-15 meters from junction on the road leading towards Poinguinim side.
The District Magistrate, North has notified two “Speed Breakers” in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Se Old Goa in Tiswadi on either side of St. Xavier’s Academy on the roads leading towards St. Augustine tower and on the way to kadamba bypass, Se Old Goa.

One hump type speed breaker to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 6.50 mtrs from the electric pole bearing no. 2442 on the road leading towards Police quarters and another one to be constructed at a distance admeasuring 8.00 mtrs. from the junction and away from the High Mast, on the road leading towards GCA stadium.
