Boost to Agriculture Sector in Goa, Farmers to Benefit from Modern Technology
PARRA, GOA: In a significant move to enhance agricultural productivity in Goa, Hon’ble MLA Michael Lobo today inaugurated a state-of-the-art harvesting machine in Parra. The event was held in the presence of Sarpanch of V.P. Parra, Panchayat Members, and local farmers.
The harvesting machine, installed near Ganesh Immersion Pond in Madani, Bhatti Vaddo, and Nitin Mart in Lobo Vaddo, aims to streamline farming operations and increase efficiency. This initiative is expected to benefit numerous farmers in the region.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Michael Lobo emphasized the importance of modernizing agriculture in Goa. “Our farmers are the backbone of our economy, and it’s essential we provide them with the best tools to succeed. This harvesting machine will revolutionize farming practices in Parra.”
Sarpanch of V.P. Parra added, “We’re grateful to MLA Michael Lobo for his tireless efforts in promoting agricultural development in our constituency. This machine will significantly reduce labor costs and increase crop yields.” Said Parra sarpanch Chandu Harmalkar
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local farmers, Panchayat Members, and dignitaries. The harvesting machine demonstration showcased its capabilities, generating enthusiasm among the farming community.
