Deputy Speaker Joshua De Souza Attends PM Vishwakarma Scheme Workshop in Mapusa
Mapusa: Deputy Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Joshua De Souza, was honored to attend the PM Vishwakarma Scheme workshop and orientation program held at Hotel Mayura Hall, Mapusa. The event witnessed the felicitation of several beneficiaries and aimed at empowering artisans and traditional craftsmen through financial assistance, skill training, and market access, thereby fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance within the community.
Speaking at the event, Joshua De Souza highlighted the significance of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in uplifting skilled artisans and craftsmen by equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to expand their businesses. He emphasized the importance of financial support systems and training programs in creating sustainable livelihoods.
The workshop featured insightful presentations on the scheme, financial assistance provisions, and training activities designed to benefit artisans across Goa. Experts elaborated on various aspects of the initiative, encouraging participation and awareness among attendees.
