Rotary Club of Mapusa Presents 11th Rotary Trade Fair-Cum-Food Festival 2025
Mapusa, Goa – The Rotary Club of Mapusa is set to host the 11th Rotary Trade Fair-Cum-Food Festival from February 5 to 9, 2025, opposite Bodgeshwar Temple, Mapusa. Spread across a spacious venue provided by the Communidade of Mapusa, the fair will feature around 300 stalls showcasing electronic goods, automobiles, cycles, and a vibrant food court.
The event will be inaugurated on February 5 at 7 PM by Mr. Joshua D’Souza, Hon’ble Dy. Speaker of Goa Assembly, in the presence of District Governor Rtn. Sharad Pai, Dr. Nutan Bicholkar (MMC Chairperson), Dr. Shivanand Gauns (Attorney, Communidade of Mapusa), and Asst. Governor Rtn. (Dr.) Pratiksha Khalap.
Visitors can enjoy daily entertainment programs from 8 PM to 10 PM, including a Rotaract Club event (Feb 6), All Goa Karaoke Singing Competition (Feb 7), Little Champs of Goa (Feb 8), and a special musical performance by Carlos Gonsalves & Group (Feb 9). Additional activities include art competitions, a cooking contest by the Inner Wheel Club (Feb 7, 5-6:30 PM), and various off-stage events.
This event is part of Rotary Club of Mapusa’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations (completing 60 years on May 8, 2025). Proceeds from the festival will support community welfare initiatives, including free cataract surgeries, Jaipur foot distribution, polio eradication, wheelchair donations, and educational programs.
The Rotaract Club of Mapusa (ages 18-30) and Inner Wheel Club of Mapusa are actively participating in the event.
