CM Pramod Sawant Reviews Development Projects in Curchorem

Panaji : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress of various developmental projects in the Curchorem Constituency. The meeting, held at Mahalaxmi, Altinho, Panaji, was attended by MLA Shri Nilesh Cabral, the Deputy Collector (South Goa), and officials from multiple government departments.

The discussions focused on key infrastructure and public service projects, including:

1. PWD and Sewerage – Reviewing progress on roadworks, drainage systems, and sewage management.

2. GSUDA & Waste Management – Enhancing garbage collection and waste disposal systems.

3. Curchorem Bus Stand Land Transfer – Accelerating the process for the proposed transport hub.

4. Education & Healthcare – Advancing construction of Sanjay School, expediting approvals for Health Department projects, and ensuring timely completion of the District Hospital.

5. Water Supply – Addressing pending approvals and ensuring an uninterrupted water supply to residents.

6. Polytechnic Building & Library – Reviewing construction progress to boost educational infrastructure.

7. Ravindra Bhavan & Cultural Development – Assessing the completion timeline for cultural and community facilities.

CM Dr. Sawant directed officials to fast-track the execution of these projects, emphasizing the Government of Goa’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the ease of living for the people of Curchorem. He reiterated the state’s focus on efficient governance and development, ensuring that all pending and new projects are completed within the stipulated timelines.
