Goa Records 243 Road Accidents in December 2024; 24 Lives Lost
Panaji: The Directorate of Transport has released its monthly report for December 2024, highlighting road accident statistics and traffic violations across Goa. According to the report, the state witnessed 243 road accidents, of which 23 were fatal, leading to the loss of 24 lives.

Fatal Accidents: 23 (North Goa – 13, South Goa – 10)
Grievous Accidents: 26 (North Goa – 10, South Goa – 16)
Minor Accidents: 35 (North Goa – 10, South Goa – 25)
Non-Injury Accidents: 159 (North Goa – 90, South Goa – 69)
Casualties and Injuries
Deaths: 24 (North Goa – 14, South Goa – 10)
Grievous Injuries: 39 (North Goa – 15, South Goa – 23)
Minor Injuries: 58 (North Goa – 16, South Goa – 42)

Riders: 16 (North Goa – 09, South Goa – 07)
Pillion Riders: 05 (North Goa – 03, South Goa – 02)
Driver: 01 (North Goa)
