Second Special Train for Mahakumbh 2025 Flagged Off
Margao : The second special train from Goa to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh 2025 was flagged off today at Margao Railway Station under the Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yatra Yojana. The event was graced by Minister for Social Welfare, Shri Subhash Phaldesai, along with MLA Sankalp Amonkar, who expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant for initiating and facilitating this special journey for devotees.
Also present on the occasion were Dy. General Manager PR, Konkan Railway, Shri Baban Ghatge, President of Murmugao BJP Mandal, Adv. Avinash Naik, and MMC Councillor, Smt. Shraddha Amonkar.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sankalp Amonkar extended his heartfelt thanks to CM Dr. Pramod Sawant for ensuring that devotees from Mormugao Constituency and across Goa get the opportunity to participate in the Mahakumbh, a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual gathering.
The Mukhyamantri Dev Darshan Yatra Yojana aims to support devotees in fulfilling their religious aspirations by providing special train services to significant pilgrimage destinations. The initiative has been widely appreciated by the beneficiaries.
The departure of this special train marks another step in Goa’s commitment to promoting religious tourism and ensuring seamless travel for devotees to one of the most significant spiritual congregations in the world.
