Fire Incident at Kulnan, Pirna: JCB Machine Destroyed
Pirna, 16 Feb 2025: A fire broke out in dry grass and engulfed a JCB machine at Kulnan, Pirna, causing an estimated loss of ₹20 lakh. The incident was reported at 17:05 hrs, and fire personnel responded swiftly with fire vehicle GA07-G-8101.
The JCB machine, bearing registration number GA-04-E-6687, belonged to Shri Vijaykumar Duri Swami. Despite efforts by the fire department, only assets worth ₹1 lakh could be saved.
The firefighting operation was led by Sub Officer Shri Dnyaneshwar Sawant, along with D/O Shri Govind M. Dessai, Firefighters Shri Vishnu R. Naik, and Shri Tukaram U. Redkar.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
