Ajoba Temple Gets a Facelift: Siolim MLA Inaugurates Beautification Project
Siolim : In a bid to enhance public spaces and preserve cultural heritage, Siolim MLA Delilah lobo inaugurated a beautification project at Ajoba Temple in Ward No. 1, V.P. Sodiem Siolim,
The project, undertaken under the MLA LAD Fund, involved the installation of pavers and other beautification works aimed at enhancing the temple’s surroundings. The initiative is expected to boost the temple’s appeal as a tourist destination and provide a cleaner, more welcoming environment for devotees.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, lobo emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage sites and promoting community development.
“This project is a testament to our commitment to enhancing public spaces and preserving our rich cultural heritage. We are dedicated to working with local communities to identify and address their needs.” She said
Sarpanch Deepa Pednekar, Deputy Sarpanch Nilesh Vaigankar, and Panch Members were present at the ceremony, along with local residents and community leaders.
The beautification project is expected to be completed within 6 months. The MLA has assured that the project will be monitored closely to ensure its timely completion and quality execution.
