14th Edition of D.D Kosambi Festival of Ideas to be Held in Goa
Panaji:The Minister for Art & Culture, Shri. Govind Gaude, briefed the media today regarding the 14th Edition of the D.D Kosambi Festival of Ideas, scheduled to take place from February 24th to 28th, 2025, at the Kala Academy in Panaji, Goa.
The festival, organized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Goa, promises to be a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and ideas. This year’s edition will feature a diverse range of programs, including cultural performances, literary discussions, and art exhibitions.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shri. Govind Gaude said, “The D.D Kosambi Festival of Ideas is a flagship event that showcases Goa’s rich cultural heritage. We are committed to promoting art and culture in the state and providing a platform for artists, writers, and thinkers to come together and share their ideas.”
The festival brochure, released by the Minister, provides a sneak peek into the exciting lineup of events and programs. The festival will include a keynote address by a renowned scholar on the theme of “Cultural Diversity and Inclusion”. A panel discussion on “The Future of Art and Culture in Goa” will also be held, featuring experts from various fields. Additionally, a musical performance by a leading Goan musician and an art exhibition featuring the works of local artists will be part of the festival.
Secretary (Art & Culture) Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, and Director (Art & Culture) Shri. Sagun Velip were also present at the media briefing.
The D.D Kosambi Festival of Ideas has grown in stature over the years, attracting visitors from all over the country. This year’s edition promises to be even bigger and better, with a wide range of programs and activities that cater to diverse interests.
