Workshop on “Visual Comic Story Book” at Sanskruti Bhavan
Panaji | The Directorate of Art and Culture is set to host a unique workshop titled “Visual Comic Story Book” from May 12 to 18, 2025, at Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji. The workshop is specially curated for children aged 10 to 15 years, aiming to nurture their creativity in story writing and comic book creation.
Over the course of seven days, participants will engage in an enriching experience that includes lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on training in designing comic characters, developing storylines, drawing, inking, colouring, binding, and presenting their very own comic story books. The workshop is designed to guide children from concept to creation, turning their stories into vivid, illustrated narratives.
All necessary art materials will be provided by the department. Registration for the workshop will be open from May 7 to 12, 2025, during office hours. A nominal fee of Rs.100 will be charged for participation, and Rs.10 for the registration form. Enrollment will be limited to 30 participants, based strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Each participant will receive individual attention throughout the workshop.
