Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi Presides Over 32nd Governing Council & AGM of Navy Foundation
New Delh : Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) and President of the Navy Foundation (NF), chaired the 32nd Governing Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Navy Foundation at Nausena Bhawan, New Delhi.
The event witnessed the participation of Presidents and Office Bearers from all 18 Navy Foundation Chapters across India, representatives handling veteran affairs, and members of the Navy Foundation Chapter Delhi.
During the meeting, Admiral Tripathi briefed the attendees on the latest developments and initiatives undertaken by the Indian Navy concerning veteran welfare. Members were also presented with detailed updates on key veteran-related aspects including the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), the SPARSH pension portal, and the revitalisation of the Veteran Sailors’ Forum.
The gathering facilitated meaningful discussions on various agenda points submitted by the NF Chapters, ensuring active engagement and collaborative resolution of issues affecting naval veterans.
The meeting reinforced the Navy Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering the veteran community through transparent dialogue and proactive initiatives.
