CM Pramod Sawant Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Traffic Police Cell at Fatorda
Fatorda, Goa : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today inaugurated the newly developed, state-of-the-art Traffic Police Cell at Fatorda. The event witnessed the presence of Fatorda MLA Shri Vijay Sardesai and Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Alok Kumar.
The new facility marks a significant step forward in the state’s efforts to enhance traffic management and public safety. Equipped with advanced real-time monitoring systems, upgraded coordination infrastructure, and provisions for community engagement, the Traffic Police Cell aims to ensure smoother and safer roads in the region.
Speaking at the inauguration, CM Sawant said, “This dedicated traffic unit reflects our commitment to modernizing Goa’s policing infrastructure. Efficient traffic management is essential to public safety and urban convenience, and this cell will serve as a crucial hub for those efforts.”
The Traffic Police Cell is expected to play a pivotal role in streamlining vehicular movement, minimizing congestion, and enhancing road discipline through tech-enabled enforcement and citizen outreach.
