PM Modi to Embark on Historic Two-Day Official Visit to Ghana
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a two-day official visit to Ghana starting Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in India-Ghana relations. Announced by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Ghana’s Presidential Spokesman, the visit underscores the warm and long-standing ties between the two nations and aims to further strengthen their strategic partnership.
Ghana is home to a vibrant Indian community of over 15,000 people, some residing in the country for more than 70 years and now in their fourth generation as Ghanaian citizens.
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi and Ghanaian leaders will hold high-level discussions to enhance cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, technology, education, healthcare, and energy. The leaders are also expected to exchange views on pressing regional and global issues. The visit is set to bolster bilateral ties and deepen economic and cultural bonds between India and Ghana.
