MLA Krishna Daji Salkar Inaugurates 3rd All Goa Inter-School Tiatr Competition at Vasco
Vasco : MLA Krishna Daji Salkar inaugurated the 3rd All Goa Inter-School Tiatr Competition at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco, amidst enthusiastic participation and cultural fervour. The event, organized to promote Goan heritage and theatre among students, witnessed vibrant performances by young talents from across the state.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of the President of All Goa Tiatr Association, Shri Anthony Barbosa, Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Shri Jayant Jadhav, and Councillor Shri Amey Chopdekar, along with several other distinguished guests.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Salkar lauded the efforts of the organizers in keeping the rich tradition of Tiatr alive among the younger generation. He emphasized the importance of cultural education alongside academics in shaping well-rounded individuals.
The competition aims to encourage creativity, language skills, and team spirit among school students while preserving the unique identity of Goan Tiatr.
