Panaji to Mapusa roads craving for help..
The pathetic condition of the road on the mouth of Mandovi bridge.
Motorists and motor-cyclists feel as if the are climbing on the mountains.
Now the monsoon assembly session is in progress. Almost all the ministers and MLAs are using this road but who bothers to alert the concerned authorities to repair this patch of road but in the dead hour of the night some workers come rubble fill the gap Or dump some cement do it temporary work and move away but the very next day due to torrential rains it takes the same shape.
These are not potholes, daily road users say these are craters. Authorities should attend to such risky and dangerous spots before any human injury or takes the toll as most of the time there is light on the roads as well as on the bridge as it plays truant with the life of the people particularly during monsoon.
The black toppings of the road was completely washed out opposite Portuguese Era house which had collapsed in the early monsoon days next to Geeta Bakery and opposite Salvador Gardens.
This road opposite Dilkhush Building from where almost a dozen newspaper reporters function and highlight issues encountering the public and politicians but till date nobody’s attention was drawn on this road which poses threat to passerby, and causing damages to 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler and causing injuries to riders and drivers. Many escape from falling directly into the pond while trying to dodge the bigger pothole from smaller potholes.
