GOA CHIEF MINISTER INAUGURATES TRAINING CAMP FOR DISASTER RESPONSE FORCE.
DATE: 7th October Panaji, Goa – Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated a training camp for the Goa State Disaster Response Force and Fire & Emergency Services at Panaji today.
Dignitaries present included DGP Goa, Shri. Alok Kumar, IPS ,Director of Fire & Emergency, Shri. Nitin Raikar, Commanding Officer of 5th Btn of NDRF, Shri. Santosh Bahadur Singh.
“The training camp aims to enhance Goa’s disaster response capabilities, ensuring timely and effective assistance during emergencies.” Said chief minister.
The key highlights of the camp included Training camp to equip 200 personnel with disaster response skills.
Focus on fire safety, search and rescue operations, and emergency medical response Collaboration with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
