CM Pramod Sawant Inaugurates Key Infrastructure Projects in Porvorim
Porvorim: In a significant step toward enhancing public infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated several key development projects in Porvorim. The event was attended by Tourism & IT Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, Sarpanch Smt. Bindiya Naik, ZP Smt. Kavita Naik, and other dignitaries.
One of the major projects inaugurated was the Water Supply Improvement Project for Porvorim, Bardez Taluka, aimed at ensuring a sustainable and uninterrupted water supply for the region. The project includes the construction of a 650 cubic meter Overhead Reservoir (OHR) at Dhonwada and the installation of a 200mm DIA Pumping Main across Dhonwado, Kitla, and Salvador do Mundo.
Additionally, CM Sawant inaugurated the Bypass Road to NH-66 in the Porvorim Constituency. This new road is expected to decongest NH-66, facilitate smoother traffic movement, and enhance overall connectivity for commuters.

Expressing his gratitude, CM Sawant acknowledged the generous contribution of land by the Communidade, stating that their support has played a crucial role in the successful execution of these projects. He emphasized that such community partnerships reinforce the collective commitment to development and progress.
The newly launched infrastructure projects are expected to significantly boost public amenities, ease daily commutes, and enhance the quality of life for residents of Porvorim and the surrounding areas.
