Marathi Natak ‘Garudzhep’ on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti
Baina : On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, a special Marathi play, Garudzhep, was organized at Ravindra Bhavan Baina by the Department of Information & Publicity, Government of Goa, in collaboration with Akhil Gomantak Kshatriya Maratha Samaj, Murgao, and Ravindra Bhavan Baina.
MLA Sankalp Amonkar graced the event as the Chief Guest, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities, including the Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan Baina, Shri Jayant Jadhav, Vice Chairman Dr. Dharmendra Prabhudessai, MMC Councillor Shri Deepak Naik, and President of Akhil Gomantak Kshatriya Maratha Samaj, Shri Prassad Prabhugaonkar, along with other prominent dignitaries.
The play Garudzhep captivated the audience with its powerful portrayal of Shivaji Maharaj’s valor and vision, resonating with the spirit of the occasion. The event underscored the significance of preserving and promoting Marathi theatre and cultural traditions in Goa.
